   Did You Know ? Take three bullets, each the same weight. Load one to obtain a muzzle velocity of 3000 fps and another of 1000 fps. Hold the third bullet 4 feet off the ground, drop it, and time how long it takes to hit the ground. Say, 1/5th of a second. Fire the two loaded bullets from guns with barrels held parallel to the ground, the same 4 feet off the ground. The bullet fired at 1000 fps and the bullet fired at 3000 fps will both take 1/5th of a second to hit the ground.
